Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a prominent law firm to identify a Corporate Legal Secretary to support attorneys in a busy corporate and transactional practice. This role requires a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, proofread, and finalize legal documents and redlines.
  • Assist with transaction closings, including signature packets, execution pages, document organization, and distribution.
  • Prepare corporate filings, organizational documents, closing binders, and indexes.
  • Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, and manage attorney workflow.
  • Handle client intake, conflict checks, file maintenance, and contact management.
  • Prepare expense reports, timesheets, billing-related correspondence, and travel arrangements.
  • Maintain attorney and client files while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, legal staff, and administrative departments to provide seamless support.
  • Utilize firm technology and document management systems effectively.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of law firm experience, preferably supporting corporate or transactional attorneys.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Strong document production, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, and legal billing/timekeeping software.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a strong client-service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
